Michael Keaton (born Michael Keaton) is an American actor, who has also worked as a producer, director and director. The actor is most well-known for his role in the movie 'Birdman. Being a multi-faceted actor, he is able to perform comic and dramatic roles. He has also portrayed some romantic characters as well as was in a variety of action-packed films throughout his career. His interest in the performing arts started at the age of teen. He tried stand up comedy when he was in his early 20s. Although his stand-up show did not go well, it helped in the development of his acting. When he failed to become a popular comedian, he began working at an television station in a satellite as a crew part-time. It was at this station is where he realized the only thing he really wanted was to perform before cameras. When he was offered a part in a television show, he appeared in many seasons on Mister Rogers Neighborhood. He was a natural actor and soon became popular in the world of television. His comedic characters made him famous and he commenced an acting career who had high hopes. The accolades grew as he played Batman's own character in Tim Burton's Batman. He grew up in the field of acting and then began working in productions and directed films. He was awarded numerous nominations and awards for his performance in the film Birdman.
